Anders Ruff Design Co. Brownstone Bloom Mahjong Mat (Ships 11/23)
Anders Ruff Design Co. Brownstone Bloom Mahjong Mat (Ships 11/23)
Quiet distinction, dealt by hand. Part of Brownstone Bloom, a Mahjong collection by Anders Ruff and award-winning Indigo Pruitt Design Studio, this mat makes its debut in The Analog Room of the Real Simple Home 2026 — designed by Marie Cloud in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Inspired by the timeless character of a Brooklyn brownstone, it brings the moody romance of an old-world painted garden straight to your game table. Layered chrysanthemums and trailing foliage unfold in a rich, painterly palette of deep olive, rust, terracotta, and warm ochre — a tapestry-like floral drawn from the nature-inspired textiles found throughout interior design. Dramatic yet soft, vintage yet fresh, it's made to be seen — as beautiful styled between games as it is mid-play, for the player drawn to darker florals and a collected, lived-in character. Made For the Player Who... • Is drawn to moody, old-world florals over bright and breezy ones • Loves a saturated palette of olive, rust, terracotta, and warm ochre • Loves the depth and character of a design drawn from designer textiles • Wants a mat rich enough to leave out as a decorative moment between games • Would describe her style as collected, heritage, and a little dramatic An Indigo Pruitt Design Studio original, reimagined by Anders Ruff Design Co. to coordinate with your full setup — so every detail of your table feels intentional.
